Annual Prize Giving Ceremony-2018

“Annual Prize Giving Ceremony-2018” of St Gregory’s High School & College was held on Friday, February 08, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the school premises. In the ceremony His Excellency Mr. Earl Robert Miller, The US Ambassador to Bangladesh distributed prizes among the students as Chief Guest while Renowned Economist Grn. Dr. Deboprio Battacharja was present as Special Guest. Honourable Principal of the Institution Br. Prodip Placid Gomes CSC, presided over.

The programme started with paying homage to the martyrs of the Language Movement to School Shahid Miner and Red Carpet Reception of the Guests. At the beginning National Anthem and St Gregory’s Song were sung by the students and the teachers. After offering the Bouquets to the Guests the Honourable Principal read out the Glorious History and Annual Report of the School. The Special Guest and The Chief Guest delivered precious speeches that has enlightened and inspired the students. After that Crests were given to the guests.

In the second part prizes were distributed among the students. At first the prizes from Nitol Niloy group were given among the 21 Top Scoring Students of each class. About 150 students got Prizes for General Proficiency where as 730 students got Prizes for Perfect Attendance. 13 Students from SSC Batch 2019 and 5 students from HSC Batch 2019 got Perfectly Perfect Prizes. Different Scholarship Prizes were also distributed among the students. 70 students got Scholarship of different categories.

At the end the Convener of the programme delivered the Vote of Thanks. The colourful programme ended around 12:15 p.m.
